Can we create a handy product to help the user make better considerations?
As a group research project the problem of food waste was considered. Product solutions were conceptualized to address the issue.
The user can take the tote bag into a store sort their groceries into the relevant sections when buying and putting the individual, differently sized sections into their fridge at home. This saves time, gives a better overview of the purchased groceries helping to consider the need for more products and reduces cross contamination. The segments are sized according to nutritional advice but can be used by preference.
